03 / How we think
Problem first. Technology second.
Before proposing a solution we look at your actual operation. In Crickets CMMS, the maintenance platform we built for a plant that makes chifles (plantain chips), the problem wasn't "digitising the factory": it was knowing which machine would fail next and which spare part was missing. That led to a custom system, not a generic app. That's how we work: we learn who uses the system and what can't fail, then design and build — and we tell you when something simpler, like a spreadsheet or a manual process, solves it better than any software.

Prototypes of the screens that matter and a map of the architecture. You review them before any production code is written.
